QEH breaks records at the Ten Tors!

In its 20th year of taking part in the Ten Tors Challenge, QEH had an unprecedented six teams representing the school in the annual event.  With two teams in each of the 35, 45 and 55 Mile categories, QEH had more young people taking part than any other school in the Challenge.


Scholars' trip to Lisbon

Scholarship Programme boys from Years 9 and 10 enjoyed a cultural tour to Lisbon during the Easter holidays.

ISFA Champions for 7th year!

QEH 1st XI are the Independent Schools Football Association South West League Champions for the seventh year running and have enjoyed an undefeated season!

National Chess Finalists

The QEH Chess team have qualified for the ECF National Schools Chess Championship finals, for the third year running.

Superb Showcase

Congratulations to all of the GCSE and A-level Drama and Theatre students who performed brilliantly in ther practical exam work.  An appreciative audience enjoyed the huge range of scripted pieces during a showcase evening this week.


Worldwise Winners - again!

In the hallowed halls of Bristol University's School of Geographical Science, QEH emerged victorious in the Geographical Association's Worldwise Quiz, retaining the trophy that we won last year.
