Securing the Future for Boys at QEH

The Development Office was started in September 2002 with three clear objectives:

  • To find ways to increase substantially the funds available for fee-assistance
  • To help finance a major three-part building programme to improve the quality of educational provision for the boys, consisting of: integrated teaching facilities for Sixth Form, enhanced Science provision, and better opportunities in Sport
  • To fund smaller projects which are achievable within the academic year and which will incrementally improve the quality of boys’ learning.

How Can You Help?

The task for those of us today who share John Carr’s vision, or have benefited from it, is to ensure that we hand on to the next generation a QEH which is in good heart, financially secure, and equipped to meet the challenges of the modern age. Your donation, however large or small, will help the school remain true to its vision of providing high quality education to boys irrespective of means.

The Development Office is there to help Old Boys organise reunions and dinners, in conjunction with the Old Boys' Society and also keep our former pupils in touch with one another. Anyone needing help in these areas should contact the Development Office.
