Development Team

Mr Steve Ryan has been a member of staff at QEH since 1973. He began his career as an assistant teacher of History and took roles as Housemaster of Carr’s (for 11 years), form Tutor, Head of Sixth Form, Head of Boarding (15 years), Senior Master, and most recently the role of Deputy Head combined with Development Director. In 1987 he participated in a teacher exchange at The King’s School, Parramatta NSW Australia. Both in and out of school he has a passion for sport - football, rugby and cricket.

Mr John Colley, Development Officer

Mr John Colley was appointed as Development Officer in October 2008. He is an Old Boy of the school having attended from 1997-2004, becoming Ramsey’s Vice-Captain for his final year. He then went to Aston University leaving with a 2:1 in Business and Management. John has a passion for football and more particularly cricket, and represented the school in both. Recent experience of fundraising has been gained at the YMCA cricket club, now Golden Hill, where he helped in the huge effort to raise £240,000 which saved the ground from being lost to housing development.
