Development Team

Mr Steve Ryan has been a member of staff at QEH since 1973. He began his career as an assistant teacher of History and took roles as Housemaster of Carr’s (for 11 years), form Tutor, Head of Sixth Form, Head of Boarding (15 years), Senior Master, and most recently the role of Deputy Head combined with Development Director. In 1987 he participated in a teacher exchange at The King’s School, Parramatta NSW Australia. Both in and out of school he has a passion for sport - football, rugby and cricket.

Mr Andrew Lewis-Barned, Development Officer

Mr Andrew Lewis-Barned is supporting Mr Steve Ryan in the Development Office. He first became involved with Development in 2003 when he was appointed to set up the systems for the Development Office and direct Marketing. Formerly, he was Head of English, a Sixth Form tutor and  Under-14s rugby coach as well as being Housemaster of Hartnell's for many years.
