Spectacular Sports Day

QEH Junior and Senior Schools held their respective Sports Days on Saturday in glorious sunshine.

 

It was a memorable day with a number of records being both established and broken by both schools, and there was plenty of variety of activities both on and off the field.

The Friends of QEH sold record numbers of sausages and burgers from the barbecue, and soft drinks were much in demand as well as Bucksfizz and strawberries and cream!

Another highlight was the dramatic beating of the drums at key moments of the competition by members of the QEH Samba Band.

The coveted Crispin Shield, awarded to the overall winners, was carried away by Hartnell House and presented to Kadeem Houson (Captain of Hartnell's) by President of the QEH Old Boys' Society, Mr Adrian Ford.
