THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED)

On Thursday and Friday QEH staff and Sixth Form presented The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)  in the QEH Theatre to delighted audiences.

 

The play is a fast and furious performance of all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays, including the Sonnets!

Director, Pip Cawte says: “This was not a parody of the works of William Shakespeare but rather of the pretentiousness and clichés of The Bard performed badly.

The production, complete with tights, was not only entertaining but communicated a genuine love for The Bard and some of the greatest language ever written.
