Juniors Young Voices Concert

On Thursday 1 December 46 boys from all Junior School Years headed to Birmingham to take part in the huge 'Young Voices' concert alongside all The Red Maids' Juniors. See www.youngvoices.co.uk.

 

This was a unique event, organised by 'Young Voices' who have created the largest School Choir Concert in the world.

Junior School Head of Music, Mrs Keira Murphy, said: "The choir embarked upon their trip to Birmingham on Thursday and took part in what was an amazing concert in the evening singing to a packed Arena.

"The whole experience, from an intensive afternoon rehearsal, to performing with the likes of The High Kings, Connie Talbot and Randolph Matthews was fabulous. Definitely an experience of a lifetime!

"Every single member of the choir was a credit to the school. By the time you are reading this, the Pop Medley should be available to watch from the YVTV link on the Young Voices website www.youngvoices.co.uk."

There were over 8,000 voices singing as one, which provided a unique performance opportunity for our boys. We know they had a memorable day!
