GCSE 2011

100% for QEH in revised League Tables

The rectified Government (DfE) league tables, based on 2011 exam results, now correctly place QEH as the leading school in Bristol at GCSE. QEH boys achieved an impressive 100% pass rate in at least 5 GCSEs at A*-C including Mathematics and English.

Mathematics IGCSE (a more demanding examination than GCSE) was taken eight months early by the top set mathematicians where ALL 22 boys  achieved an A*,  with over half of the class gaining at least 95 per cent.

Headmaster, Stephen Holliday, comments: "These are outstanding results which have now, deservedly, been recognised in a year when QEH boasted the best GCSE results in its history.”
