DIAMOND JUBILEE SPORTS DAY

Despite the showers, both competitors and guests had great fun at the extra special Jubilee Sports Day at Failand on Saturday.

Parents, boys and staff ‘Made a Day of It’ at our Jubilee Sports Day. A fabulous Jubilee cake made by our school chef was raffled.

Celebrations started from 10am at Failand on 16 June, and lasted all afternoon (between the showers).

Amongst all the family fun, during the morning and afternoon, The Friends of QEH arranged:

• Special guest - QEH Olympic Torch Bearer
  
• Hog Roast
• Raffle - prizes including a fabulous decorated ‘Jubilee Cake’ made by Colin Wood our chef
  
• Lots of side stalls for all the family

During the afternoon a traditional afternoon tea, organised by the school, was served in the Marquee followed by prize giving. A great social day was had by boys, parents and teachers.
