Returning home on Friday from the USA, nineteen pupils from QEH Bristol can proudly boast both second and eighth place in the World Finals of ‘Future Problem Solving’.
This international program involves research, team work and the application of a six-step problem solving process to an unseen scenario; this year on global pharmaceutical dilemmas.
Teams from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Malaysia , Singapore , Korea, and most states of America [66 teams in all] came head to head in Bloomington Indiana on June 8th.
QEH FPS leader, Mrs Bronnie Kenchington said: “Team GB was the only nation to have two teams in the top ten, one of them from QEH taking prestigious second place.”
