1956 Starters Reunion

We were delighted to host 15 OEs at a reunion at QEH on Tuesday 19th July.

The lively group of 1956 Starters enjoyed a guided tour around the School followed by lunch in the nearby Eldon hostelry.

Some of the group had not seen each other for 40 years so there were some interesting stories and memories exchanged!

Geoff Gardiner e-mails to say: "Just a brief not to thank you all for your contributions to yesterday’s nostalgic entertainment.

I’m sure it was quite an eye-opener to many of us to see how the old place has changed, possibly more so for the ex-boarders; I never had the privilege(?) to see the dorms in their old state.

 A successful few hours and it’s only 2 years to go until the 50th anniversary of most of us leaving !! Who said something about visiting the old boys in Australia?
