Ten Tors Expeditions

The Ten Tors Competition is an annual event that takes place on Dartmoor during mid-May.

Teams of six are required to complete a journey of 35 (Bronze), 45 (Silver) or 55 (Gold) miles, carrying full kit, including overnight camping equipment during a 34-hour period. This is a very demanding challenge which begins with classroom training in Autumn, initial day walks in December culminating in hard core walking over several weekends from February.

QEH has entered teams for this event, with enviable success, for several years.
