Music Technology

With our recently refurbished music studio, we offer workshops for pupils to learn the basics of how to use a recording studio and also give them the opportunity to record their own ensembles or solo performances.

We also offer the subject at AS and A2 where students gain the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the big-money music technology industry. 

Whether a student is interested in designing acoustic spaces to house traditional orchestral ensembles, programming jingles for television adverts, becoming a sound engineer for a professional studio or touring band, or even becoming the next top music producer then this course sets him off in the right direction. 

Music GCSE is not a pre-requisite for this course. All a student needs is a competent level of musicianship and a  good understanding of music notation.
