At QEH our core business is education. We provide quality education, enabling each individual pupil to develop his talents within a socially comprehensive community which is supportive and encouraging.
In keeping with our historic ‘Hospital’ tradition we embrace the whole child, ensuring not only that his intellectual development is profound, but also that his spiritual, moral, emotional and physical development is nurtured and not neglected.
The theatre provides a physical forum for debates, lectures, presentations and conferences, which support the whole school curriculum. Debating, Public Speaking, Sixth Form lectures, Classics conferences, Geography quizzes, Modern Languages forums, Science demonstrations and meetings relating to trips and expeditions are regular events within the academic year.
The theatre also provides a physical space where both the Senior and Junior schools can communicate collectively and celebrate their many achievements through Year assemblies, House meetings, Leavers’ assemblies, staff In-Service and social events.
The facilties the theatre affords the School enables us to communicate effectively, using supporting technology professionally, and also creates a welcoming ambience.
