QEH boys' examination results put it amongst the top performing schools in the country ... year on year
Results/Boys' Performance
QEH boys continue to perform well in League Tables published by the national press:
In 2012 QEH celebrated an outstanding set of A-level results with 100% of boys achieving A*-C grades, for the seventh year running, and almost every boy achieving his first-choice place at a top university or medical school, including Oxford and Cambridge:
-
97% of all grades were A* to C
-
86% of all grades were at A*, A or B
- 60% of all grades were at A* or A grade, with 18% at A*
- 39% of boys achieved straight A* or A grades in their 3 or 4 subjects.
In 2012 GCSE results were again excellent:
-
90% of all grades were at A* to B
-
69% of all grades were at A* or A
-
33% of all grades were at A*.
Instead of standard GCSE, QEH offers International GCSE or ‘IGCSE’ in maths, English and science. We believe that IGCSE offers a better preparation for A-level in these subjects.
