Boys' National Performance
QEH boys' examination results compare very favourably with the published national results for boys

Results/Boys' Performance

QEH boys continue to perform well in League Tables published by the national newspapers in 2011:

At A-Level:

QEH celebrated an outstanding set of A-level results with 100% of boys achieving A*-C grades, for the sixth year running, and almost every boy achieving his first-choice place at a top university or medical school, including Oxford and Cambridge:

  • 95% of all grades were A* to C

  • 79% of all grades were at A*, A or B

  • 51% of all grades were at A* or A grade, with 18% at A*
  • 27% of boys achieved straight A* or A grades in their 3 or 4  subjects.

At GCSE:

GCSE results were the best in the School's history.

  • 92% of all grades were at A* to B

  • 74% of all grades were at A* or A

  • 40% of all grades were at A*.

Instead of standard GCSE, QEH offers International GCSE or ‘IGCSE’ in maths, English and science. We believe that IGCSE offers a better preparation for A-level in these subjects.
