Sixth Form - Entry
Entry
"Preparation for the next stage of life."

Entry

Each year we warmly welcome students from either independent or maintained schools into our flourishing Sixth Form.

Each applicant is considered on an individual basis, though six B grades at GCSE is usually the minimum requirement for entry. Admission is also based on an interview.

Boys enjoy a successful and stimulating life both in their academic subjects and in the varied extra-curricular activities offered.

What you should be doing

If you are already at QEH, take advantage of all the guidance offered here. Think about what you want from your post-GCSE education and then decide whether the Sixth Form at QEH will meet your expectations.

You should talk to your subject teachers, form teacher, Heads of Sixth Form and also present Sixth Form students to find out more. In addition, if you are considering a new subject at A Level, you should talk to the Head of Department concerned.

The Year 11 ‘Introduction Morning’ will start these enquiries, along with your Morrisby results and interview, and information gathered from the Parents’ evening.
