The Sixth Form Centre
At the heart of the Sixth Form Centre is a state of the art Common Room with servery, flexible seating areas and workstations.
The informal Common Room is designed for relaxation during breaks, with the discrete 'Oval Room' and 'bar tables' doubling as communal work areas during study periods.
Hot and cold food as well as other refreshments are available from breakfast time and through the day from the servery - a well-used and popular facility!
A designated Work Room, equipped with computer workstations, adjoins the main centre. It provides a separate and more formal environment for serious study, as does the School Library and other quiet working areas around the school.
The Sixth Form Council, comprising Sixth Form representatives, meets regularly to discuss the day-to-day running of the Centre as well as wider issues, with the Head and Assistant Head of Sixth Form.
