Sixth Form Admissions
Every year we welcome students, female and male, from other independent and maintained schools into our co-educational Sixth Form.
Our Sixth Form information evening is held annually in October. We also offer regular Sixth Form taster mornings in the Autumn term.
For more information please do contact Mrs Matthews or Mrs Cussen in our Admission Team on admissions@qehbristol.co.uk or 0117 930 3068 / 3078.
Each applicant is considered individually. Should any offer be made, it will be conditional upon achieving a minimum of six grade 6’s at GCSE with a grade 7 in subjects to be continued to A Level. If a scholarship is to be awarded, a grade 8 will need to be achieved in that subject.
Should a student wish to take a subject which has not been offered at GCSE, for example psychology, they will be required to attain grade 7 in related subjects. Should this be a scholarship subject, a grade 8 will be required in a related subject.
Entry into QEH Sixth Form
To make an application to our Sixth Form please complete our on-line registration form prior to the respective deadlines for each year group (see our key dates).
All applicants will be interviewed by a member of our Senior staff. If a scholarship is being applied for, a member of our Senior staff together with the Head of Department in the scholarship subject, will conduct the interviews.
