“Nothing’s uncool – at QEH, he’s involved in stuff he would never have done before, he always held back before saying something wasn’t cool.” Current Parent

All boys have the opportunity to play in a team and represent the school.

We have two afternoons of sports or activities each week, most are held at our state of the art grounds at Failand.

Once a week, pupils in Years 3-5 go to swim at a local pool and we also run a Swimming Team that reached the IAPS finals recently.

We play, rugby, football and hockey in the Autumn and Spring terms.  In Summer we play cricket, tennis, athletics and Ultimate Frisbee.

Our aim is to enable the pupils to enjoy their sport and enjoy being active.

Pupils in Years 3 and 4 also do activities on a Thursday afternoon, these include Forest School and activities that integrate IT skills along with the environment.

“Forest School is the best thing ever. He makes fires. He makes assault courses. It’s boys being boys.”  Current Parent

QEH Sports and Activities

My boys have loved QEH!  They felt at home so quickly and really enjoyed being able to be themselves with like-minded lads.  The teachers really 'got' them and, although they're very different characters, QEH brought out the best in both of them.
